                                                                    Candy Cane Nails

Festive nail time! These are some nails that are based on candy canes, even though I don't like the taste, they sure do look pretty! For these I used a red base which is  Rimmels Lycra Pro in Ruby Me which is a vivid bright red. I then used a white nail art pen, with a striping brush to do the white stripes, the key is to do two grouped together and some thicker than others, otherwise they are just your average stripe! Recently I have been trying to be nice to my nails not changing them so often and even leaving them bare (something I hate!), but have given up on the whole idea so more nail posts to come...

Hope your all feeling very festive!

Winter Red

Winter has arrived!

Yey better picture quality! So this is the most gorgeous slightly dark red colour with a small amount of shimmer/metallic quality! It looks so christmasy and is perfect poking out of gloves. The best part though has to be that it dries in only 60 seconds, and it really does actually dry which is great, and makes it one of my most worn as I can put it on right before I have to leave. The name red carpet just makes it sound so glamourous too..

Nails-Of-The-Day
Peach.

Barry M - Peach Melba
This is for sure my most worn nail polish! Its the most gorgeous mix between a baby pink and a light coral (YEY). It needs two coats to be a nice opaque colour, but one is fine if you want a more natural look. It is one of the few BarryM nail paints I have that dont leave a streaky finish! Defainatly a must buy, even if it is a more spring/summer colour, but we do need something to get through these gloomy days.

Vintage Floral Nails

Another nail of the day! So these are some really cute vintage floral nails, I didnt come up with them myself found a picture on tumblr!

I used quite a few colours:
  • Barry M - Peach Melba
  • Barry M - Pink Flamingo
  • Revlon - Minted
  • A green nail pen
  • A white nail pen

They are actually much easier than they look, dont be fooled! And they just look so darn pretty.

Spotty Nails

Just some spotty nails I created using pastel colours. They may be more suitable for spring but never mind!
I used Barry M - Peach Melba and Miss Sporty - Clubbing Colours
For the polka dots, I just used a white nail polish with a pencil.
Stay tuned for more pictures of my nails.. and anything else!
